为棱角状砂岩石柱景观，岩峰三面如刀切，壁面线条笔直，棱角分明，直冲霄汉，雄伟异常，如一根竖插大地的长鞭。相传秦始皇持鞭赶山填海，遗金鞭于此而化为岩。 This angular sandstone pillar with three vertical faces and sharp corners looks like a whip standing upright. According to the local legend the First Emperor of Qin Dynasty lost his whip here while moving the mountain to fill in the sea, and the golden whip was thus transformed into the pillar.
